After years of anticipation, Dhamaal 4 finally brings back the franchise’s signature blend of slapstick comedy, absurd situations, and treasure-hunt chaos.
Director Indra Kumar doesn’t attempt to reinvent the formula, instead, he sticks to what has worked for years: a large ensemble cast, over-the-top comedy, and family-friendly entertainment.
While the film isn’t as fresh as its predecessors, it still manages to provide an enjoyable theatrical experience.

Story: Another Treasure Hunt, Another Round Of Madness
The film revolves around yet another treasure hunt, where multiple eccentric characters find themselves chasing unimaginable riches.
As expected, the journey is filled with misunderstandings, betrayals, bizarre situations, and outrageous comedy.
The plot never pretends to be logical. It embraces its own madness, making it clear from the very beginning that the audience is here for laughs rather than realism.
Performances: The Ensemble Cast Is The Biggest Strength
One of the film’s biggest assets is undoubtedly its cast.
Ajay Devgn confidently anchors the film and blends seamlessly into the franchise’s chaotic world.
Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi once again prove why they’re fan favourites, stealing several scenes with their effortless comic timing and impeccable chemistry.
Riteish Deshmukh fits naturally into the madness, while Sanjay Mishra is consistently hilarious, delivering some of the film’s funniest moments through his expressions and dialogue delivery.
Ravi Kishan has a decent presence but doesn’t get enough standout moments compared to the rest of the ensemble.
The supporting cast, however, contributes well to the overall entertainment quotient.
Direction: Indra Kumar Keeps The Fun Alive
Indra Kumar understands the franchise well and keeps the narrative energetic throughout.
The island setting gives the film a larger visual canvas, while the colourful cinematography, adventurous set pieces, and nostalgic callbacks to the earlier Dhamaal films enhance the overall experience.
The first half is particularly engaging, with several genuinely funny sequences that successfully recreate the franchise’s trademark chaos.
What Doesn’t Work
Despite its entertaining moments, Dhamaal 4 suffers from a predictable screenplay.
The story follows a familiar template, making many twists easy to anticipate.
The second half loses some of the momentum built during the first half, with a few sequences feeling unnecessarily stretched.
Not every joke lands successfully, and some comic situations feel repetitive rather than inventive. A tighter edit and fresher writing could have elevated the film significantly.
Final Verdict
Dhamaal 4 stays true to the spirit of the franchise by offering clean, family-friendly entertainment packed with slapstick humour, colourful visuals, and a talented ensemble cast.
While it may not capture the freshness and charm of the earlier installments, it delivers enough laughs to make it an enjoyable watch with friends and family.
The film also leaves the door wide open for another adventure—and yes, Dhamaal 5 is officially teased, ensuring the madness isn’t ending anytime soon.
