1. The Paradise – Netflix

OTT release date: October 22, 2026

Nani’s The Paradise is one of the major South Indian films arriving on OTT this month.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, the Telugu action drama will stream on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

The story follows Jadal, played by Nani, a man who rises against oppression and becomes a leader for a marginalised community in Secunderabad.

Set against a backdrop of inequality, power struggles and resistance, the film also features Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar and Mohan Babu.

The film’s gritty setting and action-driven narrative make it a major addition to Netflix’s October lineup.

2. Dorothy – Netflix

OTT release date: October 23, 2026

Keerthy Suresh’s Dorothy is set to premiere on Netflix on October 23.

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the Tamil crime drama also stars Sananth and Rishikanth, with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

Set in rural Tamil Nadu, the film explores the lives of two childhood friends whose relationship is affected by social divisions, violence and personal struggles.

Dorothy’s arrival adds another layer to their complicated lives.

The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, giving audiences across several regions an opportunity to watch it.

3. Akka – Netflix

OTT release date: October 30, 2026

Starring Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte, Akka is a period gangster series set in the 1980s.

Produced by YRF Entertainment, the show takes place in Pernuru, a fictional kingdom shaped by generations of women who govern and protect their territory.

Keerthy Suresh plays Bhawani, while Radhika Apte portrays Rudra. Their characters are powerful women whose rivalries and competing visions threaten to reshape the established order.

Written and directed by Dharmaraj Shetty, the series also features Tanvi Azmi.

With its focus on power, tradition, crime and shifting alliances, Akka is among Netflix’s key Indian releases for the final week of October.

4. Mirzapur: The Movie – Amazon Prime Video

Expected OTT window: October 16–30, 2026, according to earlier reports

The world of Mirzapur expanded to the big screen with Mirzapur: The Movie, bringing back several familiar characters from the popular crime franchise.

The film features Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, and Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi.

It revisits the franchise’s power struggles while introducing new threats and renewed rivalries.

Amazon Prime Video is the expected streaming platform, following the franchise’s established association with the service.

However, reports of an October 30 OTT premiere have not been confirmed by the makers or the platform in the sources checked.

Viewers should wait for an official announcement before treating that date as final.

5. Toxic – ZEE5

OTT release date: October 21 listed in circulating reports; not confirmed

Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been linked to ZEE5 for its digital release.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the Kannada gangster drama features an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth.

The film explores the criminal underworld through a dark story involving power, violence and competing interests.

However, the latest report available from The Economic Times said that the film’s OTT date had not been announced and that Toxic was missing from ZEE5’s October lineup.

Therefore, October 21 should not be published as a confirmed streaming date without a newer official announcement.

6. Haiwaan – SonyLIV

Expected OTT window: Late October to early November; November 6 is unconfirmed

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan headline Haiwaan, a crime thriller directed by Priyadarshan.

SonyLIV has been reported as the film’s digital streaming partner, but the exact OTT premiere date has not been officially confirmed in the sources checked.

The story follows Shyam, played by Saif Ali Khan, a visually impaired man who becomes the target of a dangerous criminal, Parshuram, portrayed by Akshay Kumar.

When the criminal targets a judge’s daughter, Shyam must protect her while dealing with a secret of his own.

The supporting cast includes Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher and Asrani, with Mohanlal making a cameo.

Although November 6 has circulated as a possible date, it should be treated as an estimate until SonyLIV or the filmmakers confirm it.

7. DC – SonyLIV

Status: Reported as streaming

DC is a Tamil crime drama featuring Lokesh Kanagaraj in the role of Devadas, an outlaw whose life takes a dangerous turn following a heist and the killing of a police officer.

As a task force pursues him, Devadas forms an alliance with Chandra, played by Wamiqa Gabbi. Their partnership draws them deeper into a criminal world where survival depends on trust and strategy.

The film also features Disha Patani and a supporting ensemble. Its emotional storyline and action-driven narrative make it a title to look out for among Indian OTT releases.

The supplied list identifies Amazon Prime Video as its streaming platform. Check the service’s current catalogue to confirm availability.
