Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is once again in the spotlight, not for a movie announcement but for a major real-estate power move in Mumbai.

His companies have quietly snapped up a series of premium commercial units in one of the city’s busiest business hubs, signalling a serious expansion of the Roshan family’s property portfolio.

Hrithik Roshan expands his business empire with a ₹28 crore purchase of 10 Mumbai office units. A deep look at the Roshan family’s property spree.

Hrithik Roshan Office: A BIG MOVE IN ANDHERI’S BUSINESS BELT

Two companies linked to Hrithik Roshan — HRX Digitech LLP and Filmkunj (Bombay) Pvt Ltd — have jointly purchased 10 office units worth ₹28 crore in Andheri West.

The offices are located inside Yura Business Park, a popular commercial spot surrounded by production houses, studios and media firms.

The purchase includes the entire third and fourth floors, with the spaces ranging between 769 and 852 sq ft each.

Collectively, the units cover nearly 7,000 sq ft of carpet area, making this a sizeable investment for the star and his family.

WHO OWNS WHAT? A FAMILY-BACKED INVESTMENT

The ownership structure behind the deal is as interesting as the purchase itself.

  • HRX Digitech LLP — run by Hrithik and father Rakesh Roshan — bought five of the units.

  • Filmkunj (Bombay) Pvt Ltd, where Hrithik and his mother Pramila serve as directors, acquired the remaining five.

This means the entire transaction sits within the family, further strengthening their collective business footprint in the commercial real-estate space.

ROSHANS ON A BUYING SPREE

This isn’t an isolated purchase. November has been a busy month for the Roshans in Mumbai’s property market.

Just days ago, Hrithik’s parents picked up office units in another Andheri building for nearly ₹20 crore. Around the same time, his sister Sunaina Roshan bought two commercial units worth over ₹6 crore.

In total, the family has invested more than ₹50 crore in just a few weeks, showing a clear, well-planned strategy rather than spontaneous buying.

WHY ANDHERI? LOCATION SAYS IT ALL

Andheri remains the heart of Mumbai’s entertainment and digital ecosystem. Production houses, casting studios, OTT offices, creative agencies and post-production facilities are clustered in this neighbourhood.

For the Roshan family, heavily involved in film and digital ventures, owning commercial space here gives both business convenience and long-term value. With property rates and demand rising consistently in the area, the investment looks both smart and future-proof.

A STRATEGIC BUSINESS PHASE FOR HRITHIK

While Hrithik Roshan continues to dominate headlines for his films and endorsements, his recent moves indicate a deeper focus on building business assets.

Whether the new offices will house in-house production work, digital ventures or be rented out remains to be seen, but the direction is clear — Hrithik is expanding his world beyond the big screen.

With back-to-back property acquisitions, the Roshan family is making a strong statement: they’re not just Bollywood royalty, they’re evolving into serious players in Mumbai’s commercial real-estate scene.

On the work front, Hrithik was last seen in War 2 which was dud at the box office. His next will be Krrish 4 which will be directed by him. He also has deal with Hombale Films.
