OTT platform has become the biggest challenge to the Box office. But Bollywood stars are just understanding the importance of OTT platforms. Content consumption has changed now thanks to the lockdown and good content on OTT platforms. Many actors have got their long-awaited due in the form of web series. Be it Manoj Bajpayee or Nawazuddin in The Family Man Series or Sacred Games respectively. OTT platforms are blurring the lines between TV and Film actors. These actors are no longer confined to their industries. So this year, it will be top Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan among others will be making their OTT debut. Bollywood stars today are no longer shying away from entering into OTT space as the scope of great content is more here. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, Kiara Advani, Sushmita Sen, Radhika Apte, Kajol and Emraan Hashmi have already done OTT shows or films, now established actors too will venture into the OTT space. Here is the list of stars who will debut on OTT platforms.
Bollywood Stars OTT Debut List:
1. Ajay Devgn:
Versatile actor Ajay Devgn known for his great choices of films will now feature in Disney+ Hotstar’s web series named ‘Rudra – The Edge of Darkness’. The show is a remake of the British series ‘Luther‘ which starred Idris Elba.
Ajay Devgn had shared the first look of his web series on Twitter recently.

2. Shahid Kapoor:
Shahid Kapoor will be making his OTT debut with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK next web series with Amazon Prime Video. Raj & DK known for the Family Man series will be making this action series which will also feature Rashi Khanna. Veteran actor Amol Palekar, has been approached for this web series. The web series is not yet titled.
3. Sonakshi Sinha:
Sonakshi Sinha known for her roles in the Dabangg series and other commercial movies has now joined the OTT bandwagon. She will be seen in the Fallen series based on the real story. This Reema Kagti directorial is based on a female cop. The series also stars Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah of Tumbbad fame.
4. Madhuri Dixit:
Madhuri Dixit will be seen in the Netflix suspense thriller ‘Finding Anamika‘ which is directed by Karishma Kohli and Bejoy Nambiar. As per reports, Madhuri is playing a global superstar who goes missing suddenly. Many twists and turns in series will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Hope this turns out to be a promising show.
5. Juhi Chawla:
Amazon Prime Video recently announced this show named ‘Hush Hush‘. This show stars Juhi Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Kritika Kamra, Sahana Goswami, Ayesha Jhulka, Soha Ali Khan among others. As per reports, this show will be a thriller drama. Also, the cast, directors and writers are all females.
6. Raveena Tandon:
Raveena too will be making her debut in the Netflix series ‘Aranyak‘. The story is about police officer Kasturi Durga. The series directed by Vinay Vyakul will see Raveena in a different avatar.
7. Bollywood Stars OTT Debut: Tiger Shroff
It is reported that Tiger Shroff too will debut in the Netflix action series soon. Talks are yet on and nothing is in the final stage. But hope he too will join this OTT space soon.
Bollywood Stars Debut on OTT:
Many Bollywood stars are in talks with OTT giants for their digital debut. Hrithik Roshan too was approached but there are no updates regarding the same.
