Dhurandhar has entered an entirely new league at the box office, delivering a jaw-dropping performance on its third Saturday.
As per early estimates, the Ranveer Singh starrer has collected a massive ₹32–33 crore nett on Day 16, comfortably outperforming Avatar: Fire and Ash by a wide margin.
Not just that, the film has also shattered the long-standing third Saturday footfall record of Baahubali 2, a feat few thought was even possible.
With this explosive Saturday, Dhurandhar’s cumulative box office collections now stand at approximately ₹534 crore nett.

While this growth is lower than the usual 70 to 80 percent surge seen for strong performers in later weekends, the scale at which Dhurandhar is operating is unprecedented.
Its daily business is nearly double that of previous record holders, making even massive growth percentages appear modest by comparison.
The third weekend is now expected to close in the range of ₹85–90 crore nett.
This keeps the film firmly on track to cross ₹700 crore nett and even overtake Pushpa 2 Hindi as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time domestically.
The ₹800 crore nett milestone is also still within reach, although sustaining momentum in the coming weeks will be crucial.
What makes this run even more remarkable is how drastically expectations have changed since release.
Two weeks ago, the mood around Dhurandhar was subdued.
Pre-sales were weak, long-term prospects seemed limited due to its genre and tone, and the film was even surrounded by controversy and boycott chatter.
Industry trade reports were pessimistic, and many had written the film off before it had a chance to prove itself.
Fast forward to today, Dhurandhar is delivering box office numbers no one predicted from a Bollywood film, especially one dismissed as an urban action drama with limited appeal.
While box office trends are often said to be unpredictable, it is rare to see a run that truly redefines the term.
Dhurandhar has done exactly that, rewriting expectations and setting benchmarks that will be discussed for years to come.
