There is a recent trend in Hindi cinema where people are revisiting their favorite movies in theaters for a second or even third time. Pathan was one such movie that saw an unprecedented number of repeat viewings. ANIMAL:
The first movie which can enter this club is Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming crime drama gangster film, Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who gained massive hype after the thunderous success of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, this movie promises to showcase Kapoor in a rugged and almost monstrous avatar.
What’s even more intriguing is that Vanga himself has described the film as his most violent one yet, with an unapologetically ruthless approach. It’s not just the film’s violent tone that’s generating buzz.
People are already anticipating the heated debates and discussions that will inevitably arise once the movie hits theaters. It’s amazing to think that a casual outing like a rom-com – Tu Jhooti Main Makkar can spark so many opinions and arguments, but with a movie like Animal, the discourse is sure to be even more intense.
FIGHTER:
Another movie is Siddharth Anand’s upcoming aerial actioner, Fighter. It’s a brave attempt to focus on aerial combat and shine a light on individuals in the Indian Air Force, which is a novel concept for the Indian market.
There is some skepticism about whether the movie can live up to the grandeur and spectacle of last year’s epic aerial combat movie, Top Gun: Maverick. The use of state-of-the-art technology to capture the action set pieces is promising.
That being said, the cast for Fighter is absolutely on point, and I’m hopeful that the risk Siddharth is taking will pay off in the end. It’ll be exciting to see what he has in store for us!
SALAAR:
Another movie that can easily enter this club is Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar. Prashant is building this action entertainer exactly how the loyal Telugu film audience wants it, which is a great sign.
Let’s hope that this collaboration between Prashanth and Prabhas will create history the same as KGF, but at the same time let’s hope the story will be different from Prashanth’s last film. Also, it is rumored that we can see Yash as Rocky in this film but that’s not confirmed yet.
PUSHPA: THE RULE
Pushpa: The Rise was loved by audiences all over India. The movie became a rage when it was released. Everyone is now eagerly waiting for the second part.
Pushpa: The Rule will see Fahad Faasil locking horns with Allu Arjun. Also, the movie is expected to star Vijay Sethupathy. Given the hype the first part generated, it will be easy to say that the second part will earn Rs. 1000 Crores at the Box Ofice.
JAWAN:
Shah Rukh Khan already made a record this year which can be broken by his next release Jawan. The leaked footage of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie, Jawan has been generating so much buzz online.
The interest and impressions of this movie on BookMyShow have skyrocketed! In the leaked footage, we see SRK giving a good old-fashioned beatdown to some goons while smoking a cigar – it’s the kind of hero treatment and packaging that we all love and crave in Hindi cinema.
TIGER 3:
Everyone is getting excited about the upcoming movie Tiger 3! It’s part of the YRF Spy Universe and it’s promising to be the perfect package. With Pathan being just a small part of this extravaganza, we’re finally going to see Salman Khan in the role of Tiger.
Manish Sharma is attempting the action genre for the first time, but from what we hear, and the sheer scale at which Tiger 3 is being attempted, we think it has every ingredient to challenge to be one of the craziest event films of the year.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Tiger and Pathan dish it out once again and can’t wait to see how they conclude the film. If there’s an ultimate face-off between Pathan and Tiger in 2025, Civil War style, then the sky is the limit!
