1. Kartik Aaryan as Captain India:
Kartik apparently is dropped from 2 big films this year. But Kartik is unstoppable as he has signed various other films. He has Satyanarayan Ki Prem Katha and Dhamaka. Next up, Kartik Aaryan will be playing the role of a pilot in Hansal Mehta’s next film Captain India. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Baweja Studios. The film is based on the story of a successful rescue operation.
Kartik said about the film in a statement, “Captain India is inspiring and thrilling in equal measure and it gives me great pride and honour to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country.”

2. Ayushmann Khurrana shares the first look of Doctor G:
Known for his quirky choices of film Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing the role of the doctor in his next campus comedy film Doctor G. He has shared the first look of the film on Twitter stating the shooting of the film will start now. Ayushmann is playing the role of Dr Uday Gupta.
Doctor G also stars Rakulpreet Singh and Shefali Shah. Rakulpreet is playing the role of Dr Fatima who is senior to Ayushmann’s character. Also, Shefali Shah is playing the role of a senior doctor, Dr Nandini. The film is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and produced by Junglee Pictures.

3. Bajrangi Bhaijaan to have a sequel:
One of the best films of Salman Khan’s career Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in 2015. The movie was also the highest-grossing Hindi movie of that year. The film also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra among others.
Recently according to a report in Pinkvilla, writer of Bajrangi Bhaijaan K. V Vijendra Prasad said that there might be a sequel to the film and they are working on the script of the second instalment.
4. Shahid Kapoor’s web series Sunny rehash of Farzi:
Director Raj and DK had signed Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon for a film called Farzi in 2015. But after some time, both the lead actors opted out of that film. Also, the film was offered to other actors as well. The film then was then put on the backburner.
After the success of their web series The Family Man, Raj and DK has decided to convert the film Farzi into a ten-part web series featuring Shahid Kapoor. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, two things have changed for the web series. One is the addition of Vijay Sethupathi’s character and the other is the increase in Shahid’s fees.
5. Taapsee Pannu to have double role in Blurr:
The first production of Taapsee Pannu – Blurr will have her essaying the double role for the first time. Blurr is a remake of the Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, a 2010 suspense thriller. Julia’s Eyes is directed by Guillem Morales.

Blurr is directed by Ajay Bahl who has also directed critically acclaimed films Section 375 and BA Pass. Gulshan Devaiah is playing the lead role against Taapsee in Blurr.
