ZEE5 just went big. The platform has unveiled its largest multilingual content slate to date, spanning original series, films, live sports and AI-powered storytelling formats across seven major Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bangla.
The Hindi Lineup
Headlining the slate is Kambli, a series drawing from the dramatic life of former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, alongside new originals The Scam: Leaked and Coffee King.
Fan-favourite franchises are also returning, with Rangbaaz Season 4 starring Mohit Raina and a nostalgic revival of Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai.

On the film side, the platform is bringing in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan, Bandar starring Bobby Deol, and Kangana Ranaut’s Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.

- Tamil: New seasons of Koose Munisamy Veerappan and Thadayam, plus originals Ananthakaalam and Thee Kural
- Telugu: Shrimathi, Objection Mylord, a new season of Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra, and films Venky Anil 5, NBK111 and Vrushakarma
- Marathi: A new season of Hey Kay Navin?, alongside Aga Aai, Aaho Aai, Tumbadchi Manjula and Bhootam Bhayam

- Kannada: A new season of Ayyana Mane, alongside Bitcoin Scam, Operation Bangara and the film Karavali
- Malayalam: A Queen, Malabar Cup, Kerala Underground and Balan the Boy
The Sports And Tech Push
ZEE5 is also making a serious move into live sports, adding FIFA, the Bundesliga, the International League T20, and Tamil Nadu Kabaddi to its subscriber offering.
On the technology side, the platform is leaning into AI-powered storytelling and advanced animation, with mythological and family-friendly titles like Garud – Ek Yodha Ki Gatha and Shivlok Ke Kundakka Mandakka aimed squarely at younger, tech-savvy audiences.
Why This Slate Matters
What stands out here isn’t any single title, it’s the sheer breadth of the strategy.
ZEE5 is simultaneously chasing nostalgia with franchise revivals like Rangbaaz and Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai, star power with Varun Dhawan and Bobby Deol led films, deep regional loyalty across seven languages, and newer audiences through live global sports and AI-driven kids’ content.
That’s a genuinely wide net for a single platform to cast in one announcement, and it signals ZEE5 is positioning itself as a full-spectrum entertainment destination rather than competing on any one genre or language alone.
For regional audiences especially, the sheer volume of original Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bangla, Kannada and Malayalam content in this slate is one of the more aggressive multilingual pushes any Indian streamer has announced this year.
