In an interview with Mid-day, director Anurag Basu addressed the speculation surrounding Triptiiโs departure.
When questioned about whether her bold roles influenced the decision, Basu firmly responded, โNot true, she knows it.โ
However, he chose not to delve deeper into the topic, leaving some questions unanswered.
As of now, the production team is actively scouting for a new female lead, with filming expected to commence later this month or in early February.
