After the success of Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan and director Kabir Khan are gearing up to collaborate once again.
Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan reunite for a high-budget sports adventure film set across Kashmir and global locations, with filming starting in February 2026 and a 2027 release planned.
This marks their second collaboration and expectations are already high given Kabir Khan’s track record with large-format storytelling and Kartik’s growing box office pull.

As per the Bollywood Hungama report, the upcoming film will be mounted on a grand canvas, with Kashmir forming a key part of the narrative backdrop.
According to insiders, the project is designed as a unique sports-adventure, blending realism with commercial appeal.
A source revealed, “Kartik and Kabir are teaming up for what could be a game-changer in the genre. It’s a one of its kind sports adventure with a high production budget.
Kartik will be undergoing rigorous training for the film, and is committed to start shooting from the month of February 2026.”
The makers are planning to shoot extensively at real locations across multiple countries, giving the film a global visual appeal.
Authenticity and scale appear to be at the heart of this project.
Nine-Month Shooting Schedule Locked
The film is expected to go on floors in February 2026 and will follow an extensive shooting schedule spread over nearly nine months.
Another source shared, “Kabir is aiming to shoot the film from February to October 2026 at multiple locations, and Kartik will undergo physical transformation for his part.
He dives into this new age commercial film right after wrapping up Nagzilla for Dharma Productions.”
The long schedule reflects the demanding nature of the project, both physically and logistically. Kartik Aaryan is said to be fully committed to preparing for the role, with intensive training lined up ahead of the shoot.
Kartik Aaryan’s Packed Line-Up Ahead
Beyond this Kabir Khan collaboration, Kartik Aaryan has a busy slate ahead.
Kartik’s new film Tu Meri Main Tera is turning out to be average at box office but the actor is currently reading multiple scripts while planning his next few projects strategically.
He is expected to begin work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 in the second half of 2026 with Anees Bazmee.
Additionally, Kartik is also slated to complete the remaining portions of Anurag Basu’s upcoming film during the same year.
There were also reports of Kartik being in discussions with Luv Ranjan for a future project, highlighting how in-demand the actor remains.
Production Details and Release Timeline
The Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan film will be produced by Applause Entertainment.
With its extensive shoot and scale-driven storytelling, the film is currently targeting a theatrical release sometime in 2027.
