Yash Raj Films (YRF) has been revived by the success of the movie Pathaan, which marked the official launch of Aditya Chopra’s proposed YRF Spy Universe, and the banner’s future movies will now include 50% of the theatrical slate devoted to the franchise. Tiger Vs Pathaan Directed By Sidharth Anand:
The Spy Universe franchise will see Hrithik Roshan returning as Major Kabir Dhaliwal in War 2, which will pit him against Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, followed by the epic face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s spy characters in Tiger Vs. Pathaan.
Aditya Chopra has enlisted Siddharth Anand to direct Tiger Vs. Pathaan as per the report in PeepingMoon portal is being touted as India’s biggest action movie production ever.
The film will feature two of the biggest Bollywood stars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, in a full-fledged movie 28 years after their iconic brotherhood saga, Karan Arjun.
Tiger Vs. Pathaan will carry forward the events of War 2, and the plot of the second installment of Hrithik Roshan’s film is connected to the movie.
Both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have agreed to the idea of the movie and have given their dates for next year. The film will go on floors in February 2024, with a tentative release planned for early 2025.
YRF Spy Universe Expands:
Tiger Vs. Pathaan is YRF’s seventh film in the Spy Universe franchise, which started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger, continued with Tiger Zinda Hai and War, and recently added Pathaan to the list. The next film in the franchise is Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, which will hit cinemas this year.
Aditya Chopra counts Siddharth Anand with his vision and will give him all the backing to direct India’s two biggest superstars, Salman Khan and SRK, together in a lavish visual spectacle that has never been seen before in Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, War 2 has also been announced which will be directed by Ayan Mukerjee and feature Hrithik Roshan and Telugu superstar Jr NTR.
