Theatres all over the country are open but Maharashtra Government was not ready to open cinema halls till some time. On Friday, Maharashtra Govt decided to reopen temples and schools from October 7th. Later on Saturday, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Uddhav Thackeray announced that the theatres will reopen from October 22nd 2021. Further, it is not yet clear whether the theatres will be open in full capacity or 50% occupancy. After this decision, Bollywood fans were in for a treat as many producers have started to announce the release dates of their respective films. Also, the exhibitors and distributors along with multiplex owners are happy too. Whether it is Rohit Shetty or Yash Raj Films, there are many film release announcements happening. New Release Dates Of Upcoming Hindi Movies in 2021 – 2022:

1. Sooryavanshi: Diwali 2021

Director Rohit Shetty met the CM of Maharashtra last Saturday and announced that there’s will be a reopening on October 22nd. Also, he announced that his much-awaited film featuring Akshay Kumar will release on Diwali 2021. The movie also features Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. It is produced by Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar and Reliance Entertainment.

2. 83′: Christmas 2021

The much-awaited sports biopic of Kapil Dev, 83′ which features Ranveer Singh will release on Christmas 2021. The movie was supposed to release in April 2020 but it was getting delayed due to a pandemic. Finally, the makers have announced the new release date of this film. 83′ film’s director is Kabir Khan and produced by Reliance Entertainment. The film also features Amrita Puri, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Nishant Dahiya, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, Ammy Virk, and Boman Irani.

3. Bunty Aur Babli 2 to release on 19th November 2021

This sequel to much-loved con comedy-drama Bunty Aur Babli will release on 19th November 2021. The film stars Rani Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari. The director of the film is Varun V. Sharma.

4. Jersey: 31st December 2021

This film featuring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead role will arrive on 31st December this year. Earlier the film was supposed to release on Diwali but now makers have shifted the release date to 31sr December 2021. The movie is a remake of the Telugu film Jersey which features Nani. The film’s director is Gowtham Tinnanuri who also directed the original film.

5. Laal Singh Chaddha: Valentine’s Day 2022

The much-anticipated film of Aamir Khan Laal Singh Chaddha will be in cinemas on Valentine’s Day 2022. Earlier the film was supposed to release on December 25. 2020 then it got shifted to December 24, 2021, and now the makers have decided to release the film on Valentine’s Day 2022. The movie also features Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. The film also features South superstar Naga Chaitanya in an interesting role.

6. Prithviraj: 21st January 2022

Akshay Kumar and YRF’s collaboration Prithviraj is a magnum opus that should be experienced on big screens only. Also, this film is YRF’s first historical visual extravaganza. The film will now release on 21st January 2022. Earlier the film was supposed to release on Diwali 2021. The historical is based on the life of the legendary king and leader Prithviraj Chauhan. The movie also features Manushi Chillar. Also, this film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in important roles. Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi is the director of this film.

7. Bachchan Pandey: 4th March 2022

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon’s comedy film Bachchan Pandey will release on 4th March 2022. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi. The film’s producer is Sajid Nadiadwala and the director is Farhad Samji.

8. Heropanti 2: 6th May 2022

Tiger Shroff’s action-packed film will release on 6th May 2022. The film also features Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The director of this film is Ahmed Khan who directed Tiger in Baaghi 2 & 3. Also, the music composer of the film is maestro AR Rahman. The producer of the film is Sajid Nadiadwala.

9. Shamshera: 18th March 2022

Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer film Shamshera will release on 18th March 2022. The film’s director is Karan Malhotra (Agneepath and Brothers fame). This film looks like a visual treat and is an action spectacle. The film also features Vaani Kapoor in the lead actress role.

10. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: 25th March 2022

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will release on 25th March 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also features Kiara Advani and Tabu. The film is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The director of this sequel is Anees Bazmee. The film’s producers are Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar.
