The platform stated that the film will become Sony LIV’s first Hindi theatrical release to debut on the service.

Although the exact digital premiere date has not been revealed yet, the platform confirmed that the film will be available to stream soon.
The film is arriving on OTT roughly eight months after its theatrical debut, making it one of the longer gaps between cinema release and digital streaming for a recent Bollywood film.

Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par features a diverse ensemble cast led by Aamir Khan. Actress Genelia Deshmukh plays a key role in the film alongside several young performers.
The supporting cast includes Ashish Pendse, Aroush Datta, Aayush Bhansali, Rishi Shahani, Gopikrishnan K Varma, Rishabh Jain, Vedant Sharma, Simran Mangeshkar, Samvit Desai, and Naman Misra.
The project is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Additional producers include B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka.
