Also, there are many upcoming films in this genre. The newly announced Yodha featuring Sidharth Malhotra also revolves around aeroplanes. Similarly, Kangana Ranaut is also playing the role of an IAF pilot in the upcoming film Tejas. Furthermore, Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 also revolves around pilots. 1. Captain India featuring Kartik Aaryan:

Featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, the director of the film is Hansal Mehta. Kartik is playing the role of a pilot in this film who is on a rescue mission in a war-torn country. The film will show the courage and bravery of Kartik’s character and is inspired by true events.  RSVP Movies is producing the film. 

2. Yodha featuring Sidharth Malhotra:

Yodha is an action film featuring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. As per the posters of the film, it looks like the film is around an aeroplane hijack. Furthermore, Yodha is the first-ever action franchise of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.

Yodha releases on 11th November 2022.

3. Runway 34 featuring Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan:

Earlier titled Mayday, Runway 34 features Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. The director of the film is Ajay Devgn. This film too is inspired by real events. Ajay Devgn shared the first look and release date of the film on Twitter a few days ago. The film will release on April 29th 2022.

Furthermore, As per the first look of the film, it looks like Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh play the pilots in the film.

 

4.  Tejas featuring Kangana Ranaut:

The film features Kangana Ranaut as a female fighter pilot. She plays the role of IAF pilot who is fierce and daring. Also, Kangana has completed rigorous training of four months for this film. Tejas is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by RSVP Movies.
