Set 700-800 years in the past, Kanguva tells the story of a warrior determined to protect his beliefs and people.

Suriya, who portrays the titular character, spoke highly of director Siva’s work, emphasizing how the story’s depth and themes resonated with him personally. “If given the chance, I would love to be Kanguva in real life,” he said.

The film also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and several other notable actors, marking their debut in Tamil cinema.
