Sharing details of his camaraderie with acclaimed filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, he said, “I was on the jury with Zoya at the Marrakech International Film Festival.

She’s someone I truly admire, and though I haven’t seen her films yet, I’m very excited to explore her work.”

Talking about the global phenomenon that RRR has become, Garfield added, “When films like RRR break through to the West, it’s like a tiger bursting through the cinema screen. It’s an awakening—introducing audiences to an entirely new culture of storytelling.”
