As per the report in Pinkvilla, Salman’s next film will be Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial – Prem Ki Shaadi which is a tentative title. It’s been a while since Salman Khan announced a new film! Well, turns out the actor has been pretty occupied with his upcoming releases, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3, both scheduled for Eid 2023 and Diwali 2023, respectively.
But that’s not all, Salman has been receiving numerous offers from filmmakers across different genres. And guess what? He has now reunited with his longtime collaborator Sooraj Barjatya for their fifth film together, tentatively titled Prem Ki Shaadi. It’s said to be an epic family drama and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
Apparently, they’ve been in talks about it for quite some time now, and it’s finally going to hit the floors later this year! According to a source close to the development, the film, tentatively titled Prem Ki Shaadi, is expected to start shooting in November or December 2023.
Sooraj Barjatya is known for his family dramas, and this time he’s planning to celebrate love in the backdrop of nuclear families, making it one of the most special subjects he’s developed to date. We can’t wait to see what magic these two will create on the big screen again!
It looks like the actor has his hands full with a dozen scripts that he’s considering for his Eid 2024 release. According to a source, he’s been offered films by Mythri, Dharma Productions, Dil Raju, Aamir Khan Productions, and Sajid Nadiadwala, all of which have the potential to be his next big Eid release.
Salman is currently in talks with all stakeholders and is also developing a couple of in-house films under his banner, Salman Khan Films. He plans to make a decision on his Eid 2024 release by April, as the goal is to start filming a new project by June 2023. It will be exciting to see which project he ends up choosing for the big release!
Apparently, the film is targeting a Diwali 2024 release in cinemas worldwide, and the team will soon move into the casting stage. According to a source, Sooraj Barjatya will be locking down the female lead and key ensemble cast in a couple of months.
