2. Tu Jhooti Main Makkar – ₹227 Cr
Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, and directed by Luv Ranjan, this March 2023 release proved its mettle.
Opening with ₹18.73 crore in India and ₹2.87 crore overseas, it reached ₹21.6 crore on its Holi coinciding opening day.
The film’s India collection reached ₹177.44 crores, with an additional ₹42.66 crores overseas, resulting in a global gross of ₹227.1 crores.
3. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya – Expected ₹145-155 Cr
Featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, this February 2024 release, directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah, is on track to success.
As of 26 February 2024, it has grossed ₹83.12 crore in India and ₹37.35 crore overseas, with expectations to cross ₹145-150 crore globally.
4. Jug Jugg Jeeyo – ₹136 Cr
Starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, and directed by Raj Mehta, this June 2022 release made an impact.
Earning ₹101.23 crore in India and ₹34.90 crore overseas, it secured a global gross of ₹136.13 crore.
The film generated a profit of Rs 46-50 crores against its budget of Rs 110 crores.
5. Satya Prem Ki Katha – ₹125 Cr
Featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, this June 2023 release made waves.
On its opening day coinciding with Bakra Eid, it earned ₹9.25 crore in India and ₹2.87 crore overseas, reaching ₹11.6 crore.
The film’s global box office collection stands at ₹125 crores.
6. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke – ₹115 Cr
Starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, and directed by Laxman Utekar, this June 2023 release showcased a unique charm.
Opening with ₹5.49 crore and a weekend collection of ₹22.59 crore in India, it grossed ₹104.76 crore domestically and ₹11.13 crore overseas, resulting in a global gross of ₹115.89 crore.
