Bhediya Movie: 5 Reasons Why Fascinating Bhediya Deserved Little More Appreciation!

Bhediya movie featuring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon released in theatres on 25th November 2022. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. Dinesh also made Stree which was directed by Amar Kaushik. Bhediya also features Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal. The Varun Dhawan starrer film collected well on weekends but the film is not doing good on weekdays. Drishyam 2 wave has made Bhediya’s collection suffer. Today, we are listing five reasons why the Bhediya movie deserved more appreciation.

5 Reasons Why Bhediya Movie Deserved Little More Appreciation:

1. VFX:

These days audiences are very intelligent and understand the difference between reality and VFX. If the movie is using VFX then it has to be world-class and close to reality. Bhediya truly succeeds in that department. Whether it is the wolf or Varun’s transformation scenes, Bhediya delivers crisp and precise VFX.

2. Arunachal Pradesh:

Kudos to the makers for choosing the story based in Arunachal Pradesh which is very less explored in Bollywood films. Also, the film is fully shot in real locations in Arunachal Pradesh. The cinematography of the film captures Arunachal Pradesh in its full glory. Also, the rootedness of the story in the jungles of Arunachal Pradesh is convincing.

The angle of the man vs nature conflict is also shown properly. Though it is not as good as Kantara somewhere Bhediya also delivers on that point.

3. Background Score, Cinematography, and Music:

South movies have always worked on the BGM of the movies very well and have delivered some very good tunes. Bollywood too is now working hard on the BGM of the movies. Bhediya’s BGM is also very good compared to other movies. 

As told earlier, even the cinematography and the way Arunachal Pradesh is captured are very commendable. The camera work is very good in this VFX-heavy film. 

Music by Sachin Jigar is also good. Two songs – Jungle Main Kaand and Apna Bana Le are composed well and stay with you even after watching the film.

4. Horror Comedy Universe:

Bhediya introduces us to the Horror comedy universe. We can see Rajkummar Rao in the mid-credit scenes. Also, we have seen Shraddha Kapoor in the song Thumkeshwari. Stree 2 can bring Bhediya also. 

Meanwhile, there are also some rumors which suggest that Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing a vampire in Amar Kaushik’s next. And he will also be part of the Horror Comedy Universe.

5. Varun Dhawan:

Varun Dhawan has impressed with his performance in Badlapur and October. In Bhediya too he has impressed everyone. Also, it looks like this role was tailor-made for Varun Dhawan and he delivers. Let’s hope that this was just an origin story and we get to see more of Bhediya in other parts.
