Farzi features Shahid Kapoor as Sunny, an artist who is just barely making ends meet. Similar to what we saw in Badmash Company but here the premise is different. Also in Farzi, he’s resourceful, and when he needs to save his grandfather’s printing press, he discovers a hidden talent: printing fake money. He gets so good at it that even the latest technology can’t tell the difference.
The show also features Vijay Sethupathi as Michael, a cop hot on Sunny’s trail, and Kay Kay Menon as a gangster who ropes Sunny into working for him. The cat-and-mouse chase between Sunny and Michael is one of the highlights of Farzi.
