Doctor G Trailer Review: Netizens Impressed!

Ayushmann Khurrana is back with his new film Doctor G. The film also features Rakulpreet Singh and Shefali Shah. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is along the lines of Ayushmann’s previous films such as Badhaai Ho, Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan, and Bala. Doctor G Trailer Review:

Ayushmann’s last film which was hit at Box Office was Bala in 2019. After that Gulabo Sitabo was released on OTT. Then Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui in theatres was a flop. Anek directed by Anubhav Sinha also released this year which was a disaster at Box Office.

Going by the trailer of Doctor G it looks like Ayushmann is back in form with the genre he is known for. He plays the role of a gynaecologist who is the only one studying in college in the whole department which has all females. Overall the trailer has some fresh vibes but it is difficult to say whether it will find reception at the Box Office. Going by the current trends, only masala and big-scale entertainers are working at Box Office.

Rohit Jaiswal, a famous critic and trade analyst says the movie could have been released on OTT platforms. He says, ” Post pandemic things have changed, content is definitely needed but it is now looking repetitive on #AyushmannKhurrana…….”

Looks like, the trailer has received a positive response from netizens. The film featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakulpreet Singh and Shefali Shah will release on 14th October 2022.
